Together Again, Ready to Go! 4032 3024 TILDE Transformative and Inclusive Leadership from Deep Democracy

September 2022, Denmark. Tilde Project’s partners have conducted a second transnational meeting in Roskilde, Denmark, close to Copenhagen, with the main goal of sharing the developments in the design of the training program throughout last year’s online meetings. The hosting team, Deep Democracy Denmark, has done a great job to make everybody feel at home and all participants could work in a warm and welcoming environment throughout the 3-days workshop.

This second transnational meeting was also open to the representatives of Local Associations and Artists who will collaborate in the realization of the local trainings and the open forums in each partner country. Therefore it’s been a great occasion to deepen the collective reflection on how to include Art and Creativity together with Process Work and Deep Democracy while creating spaces of dialogue around the topic of migration.

As it happens in any group of people, organization, or company, the process to come to a collective understanding and a common overview around any topic is not an easy path: individual perceptions or backgrounds, approaches, communication styles, or the chosen language used as a media, will definitely influence the common discussion and, yes, conflicts may arise.

It is at such point that facilitation through a process-work approach can help to make the whole group aware of what is essentially happening in the field:
– Which are the sensible hot spots?
– Who’s taking which role?
– Is anybody speaking out the “ghost role”?
– What’s the revealing message of that “voice” at a dream level and, down deeper, at an essence level?

In such a way, any group can come up to an unexpected comprehension of the conflict which is not being denied, it is simply facilitated.

This workshop has been crucial in getting new insights about how to proceed with the project, in finding a deeper connection among all partners, and in sharing practical ways to collaborate for the implementation phase.

Trainings and open forums will be held soon in Spain, Germany, Denmark, Italy, and Switzerland in 2022 and 2023. Local Associations working in the field of migration in ech country will be involved to co-host spaces of dialogue around migration. Art and creativity will help participants to find proper ways of communicating with each other.
