TILDE has started! In September we had our first kick-off meeting in presence where all partners could finally meet and know each other face-to-face. Old and new encounters in a marvellous venue: South of Italy, Ceglie Messapica, Apulia Region, in a beautiful ancient and typical rural dwelling called “masseria”, owned by a gentle and enlightened priest, Don Gianni.
The late summer mediterranean sun and the simple but delicious apulian food recipes has helped us a lot in warming our souls and opening our hearts so that we could be happily predisposed to dive deep into our 3-days programme.
What was the purpose of this meeting and where did it lead?
Essentially speaking, we needed to feel the energy of this group of partners and to connect to the spirit and to the big dream of this project. We followed this logic: 1.knowing us better! 2. create the program of the project! 3. Fix the next steps and tasks!
At the end we did accomplish our mission but with an expected new awareness! We realised that we had found a renewed courage to undertake such a delicate challenge: creating dialogue around a divisive topic such as migration in Europe! We will facilitate this process with the approach and philosophy that we all share: Process Work and Deep Democracy.
Yes, with our bunch of great professional process-oriented facilitators we can really create spaces of dialogue where every voice of the conflict, even the invisible or uncomfortable ones, will find an opportunity to be heard and recognized in its value.
So, what has happened in the middle? Well, it was an incredible flow of group processes, inner work exercises, rituals, creative expressions, conflicts, temporary resolutions, challenges, reflections about our group dynamics and about the ongoing energy field in that precise moment, analysis about consensus reality and dreaming levels of our insights, in-depth journeys into the migration context, speaking out of voices, exchanges of roles, exposure of feelings and emotions, exhibitions of talents, laughs, tears, dances, body movements, sentient experiences, agenda setting and finally celebration!
This memorable kick-off meeting has allowed us to recognize our values, our gifts, our talents, our creativity in finding solutions: this is the art of facilitation!
We are aware that it takes so much courage to stay in the middle of a conflict fire, but now we feel more and more confident in inviting people in experiencing the amazing dance in the flows of human relationships: by joining our future trainings organised by TILDE you will have a chance to turn conflicts within your groups into an occasion to know more about yourselves, about your contrasting inner voices and dynamics, and to learn the potentials for creating a space for a dialogue that can be fully manifested through the process of a deep inner democracy.
